Looking for George Burgess b 1864 Calne
Married a Hannah Owen in 1891 Calne
In 1881 he was a Ag Lab boarding at Winterbourne Monkton, Wiltshire.

OK My problem is this;  I have a George Burgess b abt 1864 to Elizabeth Burgess in Calne (ch 1864 )
Elizabeth Burgess married William Brittain 1 June 1868 Calne. So who is my George ? I can not find an another George Burgess or Brittain born around 1864 Calne. Could he have had 2 Wifes ?

A possible scenario, though it could be wrong

The first husband of Elizabeth Burgess (and father of George b 1864) died between 1864 and 1868

Elizabeth married her 2nd husband, William Brittain in 1868 and they had a son b 1871, whom they also called George.

So you have a George Burgess and a George Brittain both with the same mother.

Elizabeth was Single when she had George, No father noted.
Children of William and Elizabeth Brittain were;
Albert b 1868
Elizabeth Ann b 1870 d 1870 
Lambert William b 1873
