I believe my Speir family lived at the following farms in the parish of West Kilbride
1749 Glenside
1749 - 1754 Southannan Mains
1759 - 1802 Kilrusken
1802 - 1810 Biglees
Dickie family Dalry parish
1781 Lissens
Dickie family Kilwinning parish
1753 Crosshill / Corsehill
In the absence of Census data I thought it may be interesting to find them mentioned in the rent books. Would anyone know who were the landowners and if any rent books are still in existence and if so where I might find then?
