Coombs

Hello All:

Can anyone help me??  My Coombs family came to Canada sometime after  1827.  Know they came from Wales, but no idea what county or district.  Information on hand is as follows:

George Lovell Colombs, b. cica 1792 in Wales d. 1872 in Cda.  m. Polly or Mary (no date).

Issue:  George Lovell (2nd) b. May 17, 1816 in Wales
             Harriett                   b.              1821 in Wales   
             Alfred                      b.              1823 in Wales
             Samuel                   b.               1827 in Wales

They emigrated to Canada sometime after 1827 and George Lovell Sr. married 2nd wife in 1836 (presuming lst wife died sometime??). 

Hv lots of Canadian information on this family, but no idea of where to look in Wales or England.  Can anyone help me?

GEORGE COOMBES Christening:  16 JUN 1816   Penmark, Glamorgan, Wales
Parents George Coombes and Mary.

Couldn't find any of the others.

Dear Trish:

Thank you so much - this  confirms some info someone sent suggesting Glamorgan!   Also Mary as wife mentioned before.  Really appreciate your finding this  Sorry didn't answer sooner, but was away for the past week.  Thx again.
