yeomen in Worcestershire- name Deeming
« on: Tuesday 06 February 07 13:28 GMT (UK) »
I am seeking whether my ancestors could have moved to Warwickshiree from Worcestershire in early 1700s.

They took the lease on land owned by the Wigleys and Henry Greswolde Lewis in Northern warwickshire ( Coundon, Allesley, Sowe.

I wonder if they could have been connected in some way to the Lewises of malvern and Yardley?

Could yeomen on a landed estate move from parish to parish, even county to county  where the lord of the manor held land?
