OOOH NO  Linda  ...   you'd never get sweet peas then ! Heavens you wont get anything besides a camelia in Feb! Mine have just been hit with 6 inches of snow .. and they were looking lovely. ..  I'm presuming it's a pic taken in uk  ... It looks pretty "unwinterlike "in the pic apart from one  tree without leaves ...?  Does the date definitely refer to when it was taken ... and not just  someone making a note of a doctors appointment all those years ago !

It actually says "February 12th 1933 aged 77" so I would assume it's when it was taken. But

Well It looks like global warming  isn't exactly new eh? It certainly looks like thats when it was taken by the annotation on the back!..  'fraid that has me stumped ... I don't know what the flowers could be ...
