Hi

Please can you give some idea of dates?

We would be able to check records then.

Many thanks.

Thanks for taking the time to help!! Problem is I am not sure when William was born all records of his age differ.I thought he may have been born around 1805 he married Mary Piggott ...Mary Died 1851 He then Married Sarah Goodson. They came to Australia on the Samarang 1855 shipping records give his age as 49.

Hi

I have had a look at the 1851 Census index for Norfolk and can find no William & Mary Pearson, or Sarah Goodson,  that fit the bill.

I checked the Free BMD site and I found that Mary Pearson was registered in the June Quarter of 1851 and William and Sarah Goodson married in the March quarter.  Both of these events were registered in the Wisbech area.  Wisbech is on the Norfolk/Cambridgeshire border and Walsoken is on the border too.  It could be that you will find the people that you are searching for, in the Cambridgshire census of 1851.

You could try www...co.uk as there are some helpful people on there too.

Best of luck.

Teddy

Did you find Sarah Goodson anywhere?

I couldn't find her in Norfolk.

Cheers.
