I am looking for John Passfield/Pasfield in the 1831/1841 Census, born abt 1824 in Ingatestone.

As far as I know 1831 has not been released yet, unless someone has something on a disc that may help you

Thanks for such a quick response.  Is it right that they rounded down ages for the earlier census's?  The John I was looking for would have been 17.

Yes the ages were rounded down or up I think, not sure on the up bit lol, but he is the only one I can see for that age and area, the only other one is about 4.

Hi Jane,

Looking at this again, I've just realised that John Passifeld wasn't living at home at the time of the census.  Do you have any other Passfields living in Ingatestone in 1841?  I wanted to find his parents.
