I was wondering if someone would look up a 1901 census for an Mary Ann Thomas with her brother Jack and her sister Sarah. Mary Ann was born around 1886.

Hi Celticgirl

More info required, please!

Where did your information come from?

Do you know where Mary Ann was born, what dates for her siblings, her parents names or occupations?

There is a possibility in 1891 parents William and Mary, but without other info it is impossible to know whether they are correct

kind regards, Arranroots  ;)

I received this information from my mother, Mary Ann is my great grandmother. If you got this information from the 1891 census does these people show on the 1901 census. Thanks.

I think the best thing, if possible, is to go back to your mum or other older relative and ask whether they have any further information.

The surname is not uncommon, so there are several possibilities.

Does your mum have her grandparents' marriage certificate?  Or her mum's (dad's?) birth certificate - whichever is descended from them?

Try to gather as much information as you can on this family and post it again here.

kind regards, Arranroots  ;)
