Help deciphering handwritten placename

The SS Cymric arrived in New York from Queenstown on May 8, 1898. The attached image is from the column in the passenger list labeled "Last Residence." Some of the names, such as Frenchpark and Waterford, are quite legible. But I'm trying to make out the one below Frenchpark, which perhaps begins with "Cl". I assume it's a town in Ireland, since the line is for my grandmother Catherine Patterson who was born there. Can someone with a better knowledge of Ireland tell me what it says? Thanks.

To me it looks like it says "CLANMONIS" - not being an Ireland specialist I can't say if there is a place of that name or not. 
Could it be:
CLONMONY in co. Donegal
CLONMONA in Tipperary
CLONMONEY in Clare...

I don't think it's Claremorris - the way the letter r is written in the other words isn't compatible.

Hello again Mike.  There is/was a Barony of Clanmorris (near Claremorris in County Mayo).  There was also a Clanmorris in County Kerry.  I still think it might be Clanmorris - between Claremorris and Taum.  I think there was some connection with Mayo Abbey or Mayo Abbey was in the Barony of Clanmorris.  I hope I have got this right and not confused everybody.  I will be totally mortified if it's wrong.

Hello all,

Thanks for your suggestions. "Clanmorris" sounds promising. I wonder if that entry is unclear because the fellow who wrote it had never heard of it before. I believe my grandmother was born in Belfast. Her mother might have died around 1898, so she might have been visiting her mother's family, but I don't know their name or where they were from. I guess this will remain a mystery a while longer.

Looks like Claremorris to me, which is not too far from Frenchpark.
