well, it was driving me crazy I never found him on the attestaion papers....but here he is as James Clinton...but it clearly says Jay. C. on the document!

Jay got counted twice in 1901, as here he is in Sweetsburg, also
a Dentsit, by the way...in the home of Louis Morin ( as Massey)

You may just want to look for James in the U.S. as the info found earlier and the fact that I can't locate him or family on the 1901....tried many variations of the surname...
