Fixing shadowed eyes
« on: Sunday 11 February 07 17:13 GMT (UK) »
Could anyone please remove the shadows from the family's eyes.  This is the only photo I have of my parent's wedding group and all their eyes seem to be in shadow.  I did try myself and ended up with no eyes at all!

I think the sun must have been very stong that day as it was June.  :)

Thanks

Daisy

I have added a more balaced light level for you, the iamge itself can be touched up a little as well but im sure that's something you could achieve.

I think the 'warming' of the pic' helps with the detail and removes the accentuatred shadows.

I would like to know what you think though.

A bit of useless information for you :

It looks like this pic was taken mid day ,with overhead sun, hence the shadowed eyes and long nose shadows. A slightly overcast day would of been better.   ::)

At least you know what the weather was like and what time of day the people got married !

Hi Devondaisy

This pic was scanned at 150dpi, if you were to scan at 600dpi, there is a chance more detail may be able to be retrieved.  You can see from Julie's version that there is detail to be had in the eyes.
