Leading aircraftman Leslie Nendick stationed Belfast 1942.  Other than travelling to Kew is there any way I can get details of this persons RAF records i.e exactly what he did and where else  he was stationed during the war,  I have his identity card saying unit SHQ and his number.  Thanks Jessy

Hi Jessy
I have been through loads of R.A.F. & government websites. That tell you a lot but don't actually tell you  anything what you want to know ;D The only reference to obtaining Records for the second w.w. Is the they are kept by "The Ministry Of Defense.R.A.F. Ainsworth they will only send records to family you have his number so you should not have a problem :)  .If you go on the Armed Forces Topic where the X Men live ;D you might find something useful on the resources page. Good Luck
