« on: Monday 12 February 07 21:06 GMT (UK) »
Hello
Can anyone help please.
Trying to find the parents of a James Smallman b <1847> Upton Bishop, married to Ann in the 1881 census. He is a blacksmith in 1876 (Littleburys Gazetteer)
Also found in a Hereford Gazetteer William Smallman also blacksmith in 1876 at Crow Hill, Upton Bishop & a John Smallman boot and shoemaker, Crow Hill could these all be brothers or parents?

Many Thanks
Mike

Hi Geoff  :D  :D

Looks like Charlotte was in fact Elizabeth  ???   :P In which case 39 in 1851 would be correct for her  :D (Wasn't too sure when I looked at the image anyway)  :)

Hi Mike and hello Tati,

There is a birth of Mary Ann Smallman      Ross 26  14  March 1841

So she would have been 10 in 1851.
                                                            Regards
