I am interested to research CANTLE in Keynsham from 1785 backwards. What resoureces are avaiulable? I would be interested to hear from anyone else interested in this surname in Keynsham (or elsewhere).

John Cantle
Chester

Not sure if we are connected but my five times Great Grandfather, James Chappell married Sarah perryman or Periman Cantle in July 1785. Their son took Sarah's maiden name as his middle name. They were married in Keynsham.

Good Morning kchappell, great to receive your message, I have had a rest from this family, as my James Cantle engineer by trade came from Bristol and died around 1774, his children were living in the areas of Bristol, Bitton. :-[

Regards,
