Duibhne

The information that John sent me many years ago has John's father as Owen and his mother as Catherine.

I have not heard anything from John for some years so not sure if he is still part of Rootschat.

If you make a couple more posts we can send private messages to each other and exchange email addresses.

Teresa Nolan and John Lawler were my great, great grandparents.
I discovered that Richard Bernard Nolan, their son, married Delia Sarah Richardson in 1872 in New Zealand. Their children were;
Theresa 1874
Kathleen 1875
Thomas Fraser 1875
Margaret 1880
Marion Gertrude 1881
John Francis 1883.

Delia Sarah (33) b. 1850 d.1883

eobod53 welcome to Rootschat.

Richard and Delia's daughter Theresa born in NZ is my great grandmother.

Have been able to find out some things about the Lawler line from John Lawler also in this post but am always happy to catch up with others.

Greetings from NZ...

My grandmother was Marion Gertrude NOLAN, daughter of Richard Bernard NOLAN.

So Peter and Betty NOLAN from Kilmeague were my great great grandparents.  I discovered this chat by searching on Google for "The Bawn, Kilmeague" and in our records Peter  was b. 1818, d. 1889, but that is all we have. Any info on his parents would be interesting.

The Bawn about 1906.

Photo by Gromann of Dublin, probably sent out by Peter Nolan jnr to his brother Richard here in NZ.
