Hi Linda ...

From the OFHS's Oxfordshire Marriage Index (1538-1837), this is the only (male) LARDNER marriage at North Aston before 1782:

22 OCT 1776 - John LARDNER to Mary GARNER

(Probably Hannah's parents.)

What other information were you looking for?

Hi Pennie and Debbie,

Thank you for your replies which are very helpful.

Could you possible look up for a William Larner ? baseborn son of Ann/Hannah bapt. 28.10.1800 Upper Heyford and Elizabeth Larner bapt. 15.07.1804 dau. Ann/Hannah Larner/Lardner please.

Also, marriage for Elizabeth Larner and Joseph Carpenter 19.04.1824 Upper Heyford and any children they may have had please.

Marriage for William Larner 1800 to Ann Hodges 06.02.1822 and any children they may have.

Any help with Larner/Lardner in Upper Heyford/Lower Heyford, North Aston, Steeple Aston, Deddington, Hook Norton, Banbury would be a great help.

I know that I've asked a lot but I don't live near the Oxford area to check out the registers.

Thanks in anticipation.

Sorry Linda I can't help you with much of that - I don't have the transcripts for Upper Heyford which I think is what you need - you can buy them on CD from OFHS - see here

http://www.ofhs.org.uk/CDsales.html

I can recommend their stuff - very good value

the only thing I can say is the marriage of William Larner of Upper Heyford to Ann Hodges took place at Bicester

Do you have access to the 1841 census? - it might be possible to pick up some of them with any children still at home - let me know if you would like me to take a look

Hi Debbie,

Thank you for your help and if you don't mind looking up on the 1841 census, that would be great.

I tried the same thing for the Durrans - it looks as though Ann has died by 1841 - but this could be David and a couple of children

1841 Deddington  Oxfordshire - loding home
David Durran abt 1785 tailor Y
Ephraim Durran abt 1816 tailor Y
Rebecca Durran abt 1824  Y
