Ancestry death records have gone

Any search for an image in the death records produces zero results

Hmmph indeed - they do seem to have lost the plot. If you go to the year/quarter and letter you can still manually go looking - Seems they lost the index in cyberspace

Seems to be more than deaths - Pallots seems similar so I checked births - can't find them either.

Just tried a search on www.ancestry.co.uk; managed to see result and image.

Did you just do a general search Nanny jan? Cause I did a birth search (not the FreeBDM - that works fine) on the full birth index & it returns not found

Same experiences here.

Tried to look up a death (full indexes) and no return on any name or year.

Plus Rootschat really slow - just crashed on me and I've just got back on

Thanks liz - it seems RootsChat has recovered - hopefully ancestry will soon as well. I see little point in sending a message - guaranteed I will receive a reply explaining how to do searches       probably signed by "Caroline Davis"

I just put details in general box and went through to list; found death and then looked at image.

I can't even get on the site.Always having problems .I am still waiting for complete connection after 4 mins and then a completely strange screen comes up.
Is it just me?
