Looking for the Brothers family from Langford Beds. prior to 1799. The earliest I have is John Brothers 1799 to 1882. He was a farm labourer
Knight (Nottingham & Hants) Hancock, (Kent) , Hancox (Warwickshire), Linneys (Hants) Brothers (Langford, Beds,East London), Bridgers (East London)

It's probably no help to you,  Indaloman, but the Griffiths Valuation extracts of Ireland show there were people called Brothers at Clonfeacle and Loughgall in Co. Armagh in 1864. The name appeared in a few other Irish counties between 1848 and 1864.

Thanks Christopher, I knew that there were also Irish Brothers, but my lot come from Bedfordshire as far as I can tell
