In most years at least 40% of the baptisms are not registered on the GRO. At worst it reaches 90%.

That was the bit that confused me.You don't register Baptisms So baptized babies births not recorded Got it I think it is wonderful what you are doing,although i do, do the odd transcribing I wouldn't do it often so its thanks to people like you who have the patients to do it.
