1881 Scotland Census

I am looking for information on John MacLaren b. 1815 d. May 2, 1883.  He was living at the Retreat, New Scone, Perth at the time of his death.  Wife's name was Augusta Small.  I am trying to find who his parents were.  Any help would be appreciated.
