Well, my 3 days were over yesterday, but I'm still chuffing along.
Maybe because of time difference in Southern Hemiphere.

I've still got access too - have had some success. I've got lots to do but am spending all my time searching to take advantage of the free time. I first got in on Saturday and it's now Wednesday - a very generous three days I think!

I haven't been able to do any work for three days. Having exhausted my own known ancestors, I'm now looking up distant relatives of my friends...

Please, make it stop!

Thanks again to original post.

I have been spending far more time than I should have on the computer (hence time at present - should be in bed) since starting the 'free trial' on Friday night.  Having exhausted most of my Scottish Census searches that I needed and trying to squeeze out any last remaining finds before the trial ended, I had a surprise but very welcome find.

I wandered into the One World Tree section and found someone with one of my sets of great great great grandparents on their tree. It seems a well documented tree so I am hopeful that it is indeed a genuine link (and hopeful that the person's email address is current).

Glad everyone else has been enjoying themselves too.

Thanks again.

scotmum  ;D, but very tired.

ps

I still seem to be able to use the site...mmm...will I go to bed or not  :-\...tempting.

 3.45 pm Aussie time.
I think my party is over.
Padlocks appearing.
Entreaties and invitations to join up now.

Ah me.......  Fun while it lasted!

'Our records show you have had your 3 days ......'etc.

Success at last. Finally got into ancestry.ca during their free day offer earlier this morning.

Couldn't locate a paternal g grandfather but did find other two other relatives in the 1851 census.  :)

Hopefully I will be able to get back in again during the free offer.
