Free on Ancestry

I'm confused- is the offer still on or is it another offer? Saw another posting today which said there was a new offer but whenever I tried got the search screen and next screen had lots of locks! Used the free offer over the weekend and found interesting things but as always I have more questions.

Please help:  Have tried and tried to get onto the site, filled in name and email address then it states that address is already being used by an Ancestry member please enter password.   Tried that with numerous examples - each one rejected - have 'asked' for confirmation of password, then informed one sent - one has not yet arrived.   

Can anyone help me use this offer - thanks, Valry.

I got the same message until the one time I was able to successfully enter. I tried again this morning and couldn't get in. At least I was able to enjoy the site once.

I have decided not to try and enter the site anymore. Just too frustrating ... but the site did appear to have valuable and useful information for my research.

I signed up on a weekend too, and so lost out on some time as the site was smoking this weekend...Did find lots and so much more I could have looked at, but we will sign up when we think we'll get the value for a month's subscription. spent a lot more time looking than finding, but then I'm a novice to the site...I had a really good time, though looking for things for ME!!!

Unfortunately, I found misspellings and often had to go back and forth to my notes so much to verify that it made me crazy! But I really enjoyed it...I got a good two solid days out of it, as it did give me overtime! Also, did anyone notice if the Scottish census images were there, as it wouldn't let me see them, which was frustrating...Wanted to see if "Helen" really was spelled "Haden"...etc...


Yay...thanks, ancestry! and Sue for letting us know it was there!

wonder if the end of the month is the end of the freebie...hope not, so more of you can enjoy it, too!

No they have some indexes but no images
