Is there anyone out there related to either John Maxwell or Helen Peddie who were both born about 1825.  They moved to Salford about 1860 to join the Industrial Revolution.  Presumably they were in search of better employment/renumeration as Joiner/Journeymen/Tailors than they were receiving employed by the Bredalbane Estate at Kenmore.  It is easy via Scotlands People to trace their ancestors back, but it is proving difficult to find surviving relatives.
