1871 Census Bangor N Wales - Gschwind
« on: Tuesday 23 November 04 13:51 GMT (UK) »
I am looking to see if there are any people with the surname of Gschwind in the 1871 Census for Bangor North Wales. There is only one family in the town in the 1881 Census and I want to find out if they came over to Wales from Switzerland before 1871.

Many Thanks

Swiss Cheese

The earliest B/M/D is Emile Gschwind who married in Rugby in the Dec qtr of 1873, vol 6d, page 855.

The 1881 gives look uppers a flavour of who they are looking for  :)
