Births, Marriages & Death records in India

Three generations of my family were in India.
My 3 x Gt Grandparents Thomas & Elizabeth O'Connell and daughter Elizabeth went from Cork, Ireland to India where he served with the 3rd Madras Fusiliers. Their daughter Elizabeth married  James Magee of the Royal Horse Artillery when she was only 15. Their daughter Annie, my Great Grandmother was born around 1868 in Secunderabad.
Both my 3 x Gt Grandfather Thomas O'Connel and my 2 x Gt Grandfather James Magee died (or were killed) in India.  Both their widows remarried other British soldiers. 
Is it possible to trace any of the birth, marriage or death records on-line, or do I have to go the the British Library or the National Archives at Kew.
I have had no luck with the NA on-line catalogue.
Any help would be appreciated.

Hello There,
      l have just done a little research for you,and come up with the deaths of Thomas O"Connel,who was in the Cape Police and died between 1899-1902.James Magee,who was in the 2 Royal Irish Rifles also died between 1899-1902.
      Although l could not find anything on the marriages of the Eliza O"Connels,as it dosnt look as though they had millitary weddings.
      I hope this is of some help in your research for your ancestors.
