Died in glasserton, Buried where ?
« on: Monday 19 February 07 10:25 GMT (UK) »
Can anyone tell me where someone who died in Glasserton would have been buried ?

I am looking for the burial place of my ancestor's John Dodds died 13 June 1858 and his wife Marion Morrison died 7 Dec 1867.

They also had several children who died between 1810-1830.

Any help at all would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Debi

Have I looked for this family for you before because I seem to have his death certificate image.

On this it states that he was buried in the Churchyard of Glasserton.

I assume it will still be there.  Here is a map showing the position of the Church there.

Hi Gadget

Yes you have been a great help with this family before, this was the one were i was struggling with births and baptisms on the same day for different children.
I have managed to sort this out now that the OPR images are on scotlands People.

Thank you for the graveyard and the link, and for all your previous help.

Much Appreciated
