Hi

I'm researching Elizabeth Cox from Much Marcle.  Born ca 1844 to James Cox and wife.  Any connection?

Kind Regards

Nicola.

Hi Nicola,

The only COX from Much Marcle area that I have in my tree (so far!) is Emma Cox born 15 Nov 1846 in Much Marcle. Parents James Cox born abt 1804 and Harriet Sim(p)kins born abt 1819 in Ullinswick, Herefordshire.

Emma married John Hill and they lived in Bishops Frome.

If any of this makes sense let me know and I'll pm you with my email address and we can chat about it.

Cheers
Tabitha

Hi there again

I think Emma was Elizabeth's sister.  From what I've found so far (and this is on the latter day saints website - I'm just sending off for Elizabeth's birth cert to find out mother's name), Elizabeth's mum and dad were James and Harriet.  Elizabeth was born ca 1845 in Much Marcle, so the ages tally to make siblings.

Let me know what you think.

Nicola.
