1861 look-up please - pages missing (completed)
« on: Wednesday 21 February 07 01:07 GMT (UK) »
Hi

I've been looking on Ancestry for William and Sarah Glave, who should be living at 43 or 44 Back Row, New Houses, Preston Quarter, Whitehaven.  They are there in 1851 and 1871.  I was just wondering if there is anybody else living with them.

William was born in Bolton, Lancashire.  Sarah was born in Workington.  William's date of birth was 1803-5.  His brother was living on the row in front - James, and he is still there.

The pages are missing on Ancestry for 31-63 Back Row.  The actual page numbers missing are 7-13.  Whitehaven isn't on the list of missing pages on the 1837website list.

Has any kind person got a disc with the missing transcriptions on it?  If so, I would be very grateful.

Rosemary

Do you know how James Convery is a nephew to this family? I am linked to a Convery/Connery family living on Newhouses.
