Manchester 1851 / 1861
« on: Tuesday 23 November 04 23:05 GMT (UK) »
I'm looking for these 3 families in the Manchester area in 1851 or 1861:
Joseph Massey, son Josiah (born c. 1838) - in 1859 they were in Hulme.
Patrick McGough, daughter Margaret (born c. 1838, father & daughter both born in Ireland) - in 1859 they were also in Hulme.
Benjamin Simmons, daughter Elizabeth (born c. 1840) - in 1857 they were in Salford.
Any help gratefully received, as this is my only way of getting further back.
Godden in East Sussex, mainly Hastings area.
Richards in Lea, Gloucestershire, then London.
Williamson in Leith, Vickers in Nottingham.
Webb in Bildeston and Colchester.
Wesbroom in Kirby le Soken.
Ellington in Harwich.
Park, Palmer, Segar and Peartree in Kersey.

He could indeed.  The only child I knew about was married by then, but she was born in Preston.  Has to be them.  Many thanks.
