Hi there Jean

Just looked on the 1891 census for your Cockerill Ancestors.

There were 16 people named Hannah Cockerill, aged from 3 to 72
Of those 16, only 7 are shown as born in Yorkshire i.e  4 are daughters, 2 are wives and 1 is Head; but none were born in Seamer, York..
If Hannah was born Jan 1858, then she would have been 33 at the time of the census in 1891 and if she was telling the truth about her age, then this is the only 33 year old wife.

RG12/ 3968/ Folio 21/ Page 35 – Number 38, Hampton Road, Scarborough, Yorkshire.

COCKERILL  Thomas, Head, Marr, 36, General Labourer, born Harwood Dale Hackness, Yorkshire
Hannah, Wife, Marr, 33, born Fridaythorpe, Yorkshire
Charles W, Son, Unm, 6, born Scarborough
Hilda, Dau, Unm, 4, born Scarborough
Thomas, Son, Unm, 2, born Scarborough

If this is not the correct family, there is another Hannah aged 34, born at Newton, Yorks, married to John and they have 5 daughters – Margaret A, aged 11; Gertrude A 7; Winifred M A 4; Florence M 2 and Jona A aged 2 months.

Hope the above furthers your research
