There are several cemeteries (burying grounds) attached to Ahoghill Churches i.e. 1stAhoghill Presbyterian, 2nd Ahoghill Presbyterian etc etc
Can you narrow it down?

First Ahoghill definitely has an attached burying ground. It's in the main street. The Church itself dates back to the 1600s.

Presbyterian might also be buried in burying ground attached to the Church of Ireland (although they might not always appear in C. of I. burial register).

Patcan- perhaps you can let us know if you've been able to find the information you were looking for. If so, this posted can be moved to completed requests.

Thanks aghadowey
sadly have not found the information I require, I pm maggieblue in answer to her reply, perhaps I should have posted in here so people would know my request was not complete. I have sent  emails to Portglenone library in the past, as another poster informed me they may have a list of cemeteries in the area, but have not received a reply

Once again thank for taking time out

Hi Pat

There is an old graveyard in Ahoghill called "The old graveyard".  It is not attached to a church and it is kept locked.  I'm getting the keys to it hopefully this weekend to go out and look around.  What names are you looking for.  I will hopefully be able to access the records as well.

Maggie :)
