Hi Aislynn

There is only one marked grave, a metal shield that reads

The
Burying Ground
of
James Thompson

It is placed up against the wall of the graveyard.  I have a photo of it. Please email me and I will forward it to you.  I hope to get access to the register for the graveyard and I will see if it records any more detail for you.

Hi Paul

I found two graves.  They read as follows

ghill who Departed
this life Jan ry the 4th

in memory of his mother

Hi Maggie
Looking for connections to Wallace/Craig and see your list includes these names.  Namely James Wallace and his family and his niece Mary Agnes (Agnes) Wallace (daughter of Thomas Wallace and Elizabeth Rose Dickey) who married Samuel Craig in 1899.  I think they lived on the Wallace land in Ballymacilroy. Trying to trace Wallace family and think all married and buried 1st Presby Ahoghill.  I live in New Zealand so a bit more difficult to trace and follow up.
Thanks for any info.
Kind Regards
Jenny

Hi Maggie,

I am looking for Stewart's from Ahoghill.

William Stewart who died 14 Oct 1949.
Isaac Stewart died 19 Sep 1907.
Margaret Stewart died 13 Jul 1911.
Grace Stewart & William Stewart both died 1920.

If you have photos of any of these graves it would be brilliant if you could email them to me.

Many Thanks
Kenny

I suggest you look at http://www.thebraid.com/genealogy.aspx Ballymena Council Graveyard website. Just type in the surname and leave the second box at all. You can then identify the particular graveyard where your relation may be buried.
