I am looking for any information on the following family:

David SCOTT born? and his wife
Catherine SCOTT (nee CARROLL) born? and their children
Thomas born 1821 Meath
David born 1823 Meath
James born 1825 Meath

I believe that David and Catherine could have been married in Scotland or England.

I have also found on some records that Thomas could have been born in Navan, Meath, Ireland or Moortown, Lowth, Ireland or Lyddon
 
Was there an Irish census?
