How do I Include this in the message?

Can someone please help 'dumbo' here?  I am trying  to start a new topic and I am trying my dam hardest to include a previous thread  (http://www. etc etc etc) within the message. Please how do I do this?

Hi Ewan

What I tend to do is to "copy and paste" it.

Highlight the address while you have the topic open, press Control and C

Go to the new topic and press Control and V - it should be copied into the document/ post.
