Fletcher family tree
« on: Tuesday 27 February 07 19:25 GMT (UK) »
I am trying to trace my Family tree. I know my GGD was William Fletcher born in Tredegar or Bedwellty in 1859, his father (my GGGD) was John Fletcher born circa 1828 in Tredegar/Bedwellty who married Caroline (Maiden name not known) John was a Furnace Keeper
I believe his father (my GGGGD) was George Fletcher born circa 1773 who married Elizabeth (maiden name unknown) who may have died and then he re married Eliza Reed
My GGD William and his Father John (my GGGD)and possibly other family members moved from Tredager area sometime between 1861 and 1871 census to Stillington area near Stockton on Tees I believe to work at Carleton Ironworks.
Interested to learn if there are any distant relatives still living in Tredegar/Bedwellty or if there are any family graves in the area for George, Elizabeth or Eliza

Thanks sounds promising, and a maiden name for Caroline should be a great help.
