Hi
I am new to this site so I have no clue yet how to use the site properly! I noticed that Sem73 takes pics in Nantwich cemetary. If you read this, have you come across any Highfields in the Cemetary. Thanks so much

Hi

I have been forwarded to yourself from Kathb in the hope that you may be able to help, I am looking for a death / burial for John O'Hara... I have two John's in my tree one was born c1790 but I can't find a death for him and the other (his grandson) was born c1839 and died in 1916, also Andrew O'Hara b. 1820 and d. 1847.  I wonder if you would be so kind as to have a look for me, 80% of my relatives were born in Nantwich and I was born in Crewe but I now live in Lancashire so it is a bit difficult to get there now.... I wish I had started my family history before I moved it would have made life a lot easier!!

Thanks in advance

Hi
I noticed at the start you said that knowing when people died is helpful because of how the cemetry is set out.  whereabouts would i go to find people buried between 1920-1960ish?  i am looking for Fred and mary stockton buried together and thought that i might try and find them this week

Hi Vicky,
Burials of that date are much more likely to be in Whitehouse Lane, although there are some in the Barony.
Have you checked the registers? Anybody buried in Whitehouse Lane will be in the registers held at Crewe Cemetery Office and will give you the grave number - they are easy to find but make sure you ask them for the right register.
If they are in the Barony they should be in St Mary's registers in Nantwich Library - but will not give a grave number. That date in the Barony will not follow the plan but may be fitted in anywhere. FHSC have transcribed them all and it may be worth you looking there first.
