WW2 photos
« on: Wednesday 28 February 07 22:06 GMT (UK) »
Hi All

I hope someone will be able to work the usual magic with these photos.

I have been in contact with the daughter of one of my father's army mates who died in Italy in WW2.  All her father's letters and photos have been lost and she only has one picture of her father.  My Dad has a couple of him, one in fairly good condition, the second rather battered.  It would be lovely to pass on good copies to her.

The second one seems to have some light damage so it may not be fixable completely but perhaps it could be improved a bit?

Many thanks
Monica

Hi Monica

See you come from a wonderful part of the UK  ;D ;D ;D ;D.

You haven't done anything wrong, the pics posted that's the main thing. The moderators will shrink them if they feel the need, the only issue is people have to scroll to view them, but from a restoration point of view they are fine.

Cheers
