Baptism lookup please - Joseph HALLS - Stowmarket

Hello Everyone.

Am trying to trace my great great grandfather Joseph Halls.  The census' state he was born approx 1818 Stowmarket. Have just received his marriage certificate to Sarah Tricker dated 25.1.1841 which states he was 23 so he could be born approx 1817. Unfortunately (which is just my luck!) fathers name, surname and profession all left blank.     No clues from the witnesses either - a John Tricker and Mary Ann Borley.
Any help would be much appreciated

Parents were Robert Halls and Susan

Whilst I have no interest in the name Tricker, I have helped a couple of Australian researchers who are interested in the name in Suffolk 

If you check out Neil's web site, you will find that there are a couple of people who are researching the Tricker's in Stowmarket area.

I live near the other main 'enclave' Boxford-Hadleigh area in the south west of the county.

I have already discovered this great website and today left a message about Sarah Tricker as there is a Sarah there with the same birth year but different (by 15 years) death date, but thank you anyway.

Frances, thank you also for that baptism, have already emailed Neil from the Stowmarket history website to see if he has any info.  Have had a look at the Suffolk names  website which is excellent, thank you, if I have no joy from Neil will try the lady who looks up Stowuplands.
