My first instinct was that Blampied is not a real surname. That is quite silly as I could hardly know all possible surnames. However, it did lead me to search just for residents of Northampton, named William who were born in the Channel Islands. Up popped William Blansfield 28 and his wife Elsie also 28, both born Jersey. 3 sons - Percy 5, Herbert C. 4 and Louis 7 months [I think - the checker has scrawled through the age]. I was reading earlier in a magazine that one should search for all variants of a  surname, however ridiculous, if one cannot find someone.
They were living at 84 Military Road, St. Andrew, Northampton. 8)

Information   What to do next?

Name:    Blampied, Elsie Esther
Record Type:    Deaths
Age at death:    31
Quarter:    March
Year:    1894
District:    Northampton (1837-1924)
County:    Northamptonshire
Volume:    3b
Page:    42

I see Elsie was 31 when she died in 1894 or 38 in 1891. That makes me think again about the family I referred to as Blansfield - that Elsie was also 28 in 1891.

Sorry I cannot send a copy of the image but it is written in such a way it could be Blampied, Blansfield, Blanfield, Blampield or any similar combination.
If you can get to a Family History Centre of the LDS I will send you the reference so y9you can see it for yourself 8)
