Richard Trevithick

My maternal grandmother told me we were related to Richard Trevithick through the female line.  I have established that my great grandfather Alfred Jewell married Fanny Trevithick in around 1880.  Is Fanny directly decended from Richard Trevithick.

Jen,
Thanks for the prompt reply, I actually do have the information as far as you gave me.  I think Fanny must be a few generations down the track.
Thanks
