DENVIR/ LOWERY/ BRUCE

I am searching for more info for the above names. I have ground to a halt with Mary Jane Lowery (b. Sandwith 1848) m. George Bruce 23.02.1868 and unlawfully killed in 1892. She had at least 6 children of whom I can find no trace. Her parents were John Lowery(1819) and Mary(1824). I am also seeking more info for James Lowery who married E. Cribbon or Gribbon from the Isle of Man. James died in 1920. Finally, I am seeking further info for Richard Denvir (b1816) in County Down. I have extensive info, incl newspaper reports from 19th century, which I am willing to share. I hope someone can help. Thank you.
I can also lookup Whitehaven and district info if anyone wants to give me details, incl some catholic church records.

Have just seen your post and I have George (24), Mary Jane (22) and Tom (1) in the 1871 Census at Lowther Arms Inn, Sandwith.  George was a farm servant but place of birth was not given.  Mary Jane and Tom were both born Sandwith.
Also at the same address were: John Lowery, H, M, (52), farm servant, b. Hale, Mary, W, M, 47, b. Westmorland, John, Son, 14, Scholar, b. Sandwith.
At 3 Lanehead, Sandwith were: Owen Lowery, H, M, 31, Coal Miner, b. Whitehaven. Harriett, W, M, 24, b. Ireland, Ellen, Dau., 5 mth., born Sandwith.  These may not be related but as they were in the same village I thought I'd include them.

There are 3 Richard Denvir/Dinvir's in 1871 one is 55 yrs., a blacksmith, but you don't say if it is Whitehaven for him.  He was born Ireland.

I have Jim Lowery, Bachelor married Elizabeth Gribbin, Spinster at Holy Trinity 28 August 1905 which I can look up details.

Thank you for the information - I already have all the Denvir/ Lowery you listed except for the marriage date of Elizabeth Gribbin and Jim Lowery - thank you. I was particularly interested in a family 'legend' about the death of Mary Jane Bruce nee Lowery at Sandwith, and eventually obtained a copy of the relevant newspaper report. Are you related to any of the people listed, in any way?

I have spredsheet and indexes to all 'my' Denvir/ Denver/ Lowery people - if you could use them I would be happy to send them.
