Thank you all  for looking.
From family memories there seems to be some link to a lewis family in Baglan or Bridgend. Also a link to a Charlie Ellis who worked for a firm of coach builders in Cardiff called Howells at the beginning of 20th century.but it is all very vague and muddled.
Your help has been appreciated.
