"Syd. Sydney the Push and Go Artist"
« on: Sunday 04 March 07 18:02 GMT (UK) »
Anyone any idea how I trace "Syd Sydney the Push and Go Artist"?   He was obviously working as a comedian or music hall artist in the 1st world war.  Touring the country.   In photos he only looks very young and he was appearing in London in 1915.
I suspect his surname might have been Oakley or Pye but am not able to confirm it.  There may be an Irish connection as one of the postcards with his photo on is printed in Belfast
Any help much appreciated.
Andrea

Hello Andrea,

It might be worthwhile trying the Belfast connection ... have you the printer's name ???
