My Gr Gr Grandfather Dominick Hart was born in Ireland
1830or 31 can anybody help me find out where ?

He went to Scotland and married  in 1854

Do you have a copy of Dominick Hart's marriage certifcate?
It should give his Fathers name & possibly a date of birth.

Hi Sue ,thanks for the welcolme,
I have not been able to find a marriage cert, the only info I
have is from his son John 's(my GrGranfather) birth cert it states
Dominick married Ann Duffy 29th Dec 1854 in Old Cumnock Ayrshire

Census information for 1861 shows they had a daughter Mary aged 7
which would mean she was born 1854 so the date might be wrong
I will try groireland.
