Pullen , Bus Company

Does anybody have any info on bus company owned by JOHN PULLEN who lived in Milton of Campsie in and around 1925 , he died May 1927
 his son John William Pullen worked
in the same business but he died at he age of 20 in 1929


 
I dont know if the bus ran locally or what happened to the business ,His wife was

The bus company was almost certaily swallowed up by Lawson's of Kirkintilloch or by Walter Alexander & Sons.

My father was associated with Alexander's almost from the beginning of the company.
He wrote a brief history of Walter Alexander & Sons Ltd., and makes no mention of Milton of Campsie. The closest he comes is to the opening of the Kilsyth operation in 1924.  Certainly, by 1930, only David Lawson ( which I think was already absorbed by Walter Alexander),  Walter Alexander & Sons Ltd., plus a small company called Carmicheals were operating in this area.
