All that record contains in the GRO reference for her birth certificate.

I think that page number is 67 though.

Hi Pauline, Many thanks for your information, now I,ve got to figure out how Emma Bacon got from London to Wales, and met and married my grt grandfather in newport mon. in 1874, I,ve  ha d a contact with a cousin of mine who is not online, but tells me that he has traced the family of Bacon back to elizabethan times, unfortunately he is in Brazil at the moment, and out of touch. This is the first time I,ve tried this, (family tree research) and I,m totally suprised at the staggering amount of information that comes up, once you start, and am I ever on a learning curve, especially as a computer newby, I may be 77yrs old and a bit slow on the uptake, but I,m learning fast,(usually by mistakes) once again, many thanks,  Mike, (splottboy)

Hi suffolk sue, sorry for delay after your msge. was posted, due to computer probs, compounded with major central heating work. it seems that the bacon family got around quite a bit, it was my G/Grandmother Emma I,ve been researching, but marrying my G/grandad, in newport mon. gave rise to the query about how on earth they got together, he being born in Bonvilston Glamorgan, and she in Ely Cambs. and finishing up raising a large family in Cardiff, sure is a mystery.
                   Thanks for your infon, Mike.

Notts, & Cardiff, so far that is, if i come across anything that may relate to you i will PM. Nice to contact someone else pre 1940
