I think I've found her in 1901 living with her mother and sister at 15a Rheola Street Penrhiwceiber.

Susannah M Williams b.1882 Shop (?) Cardiganshire - Domestic Servant

I'll see if I can track them down in 1891

And I think this must be them in 1881 .....

Living at Woodfield Street Swansea

Richard Williams b. 1855 Cardiganshire
Mary Williams b. 1849 Cardiganshire
Elizabeth Williams b 1880 Cardiganshire

Richard's occupation looks like "spiller works"? Maybe "speller works"?

Carrying on with who I think is your Richard ....

1861

Richard Williams b. 1855 Llanrhystyd - Servant

Head of household Mary Jones who is "farmer of 85 acres" the farm seems to be called Glancarrog and in Llanrhystyd

1851

The address looks like Tymawr Isaf - but I can't be certain of this

Margaret (transcribed as Louis but form original document could be Lewis) Head b. 1791 Llanrhystyd
Elizabeth Williams b. 1820 Sailor's Wife
William Williams b. 1850
Richard Williams b. 1855
John Williams b. 1855
Elizabeth Williams b. 1858
All born in Llanrhystyd Cardiganshire

RG9, Piece 4194, Folio 62, page 8
Jones - Rhondda Valley/Neath
Harvey - Swansea/Calstock Cornwall
Blethyn - Pembrokeshire
Bowen - Pembrokshire

Hello Jules,
That was really wonderful to do all those lookups, thank you so much, I really  appreciate it,  without people like you to help, I don't think I would ever have found my Welsh Family, and with all the different welsh names and spellings, I would not have had a clue

Maybe its 'spelter works'? Swansea was a world centre for tinplate in the 19th century.

Just to be pedantic.

If he worked in a Spelter Works he was working with Zinc.
