Does anyone have a connection to the surname Robison?

Thomas Robison born approx 1840,Minto, son of Joseph Robison and Agnes Lawrie,
married Agnes Burns, 1864,Hawick,
they had 9 children, all born in Hawick,
Agnes Robison born 1865,
Joseph born 1867, married Janet Brydon.
Georgina Jeffrey Burns Robison born 1868
Margaret born 1870 married Robert Dalgliesh,
William Burns Robison, born 1872,
Helen born 1874 died infancy,
Twins,Marion Shaw Robison born 1876 married Thomas Elliot Crozier.
Catherine Brydon Robison died infancy,
James Brydon Robison born 1877,died infancy.

Family buried in the Wellogate Cemetery,Hawick.

Hi Amanda

It's Julie I've just joined this site and came across some of your posts.  This one just caught my eye because I've been trying to research the Brydon's from the Borders but they're on my dad's side of the family through the Ballantyne line and the Brash is through my mums!!!  How strange!  The names look familiar but the dates are different!  Anyway I'll email you if soon once I put everything together!
