A SPARK of light needed.
« on: Monday 12 March 07 11:27 GMT (UK) »
Hi Everyone can anyone light a spark on this problem for me please?

Thomas SPARKES  m Susanna MOLE 22 Oct 1810 Hallow M094761 1584-1874
Thomas PARKES and Susanna  Thomas bap 1813 Ombersley
Thomas PARKES m Sarah MOLE 21 Jan 1830 St Martin Worc
Thomas SPARKES (50)and Sarah SPARKES (40)1841 census Ombersley
51 Sarah SPARKES wid with grand daughter Eliza SPARKES   b Ombersley 1836

Thomas SPARKES death Droitwich 18 217 Mar 1851
Thomas SPARKES bpt Ombersley 1856 to Eliza

61 and 71 Sarah SPARKES Wid

If the SPARKE =PARKES then Sarah MOULE was the widow of Susanna MOULE's brother just to complicate things

Is it probable or possible that PARKES and SPARKES are interchangeable?
Can any one look at the marriage index to see if Thomas PARKES was a wid for the 1830 marriage? Please.
Are there any other SPARKES marriages in the Ombersley area 1830-1840 for possible parents of Eliza?
Presently looking for a spark of light   ;D With apologies for awful puns
