Hi Yogi
You could try and get in touch with the Cambridge Evening News, which is the local paper to see if there records go back that far.

I am totally with lizdb. There has been virtually no feedback on any lookup request from you. People who give up their time and money to help you deserve at least an acknowledgement, if not thanks.

I use the baseball rule of three strikes and you're out - three look up requests answered without an acknowledgement and that's your lot.

Nor do I!!!

Go on Yogi - run through all your posts and give us an update so we know what you still want help with and what you have solved - and for those that needed more info (like dates) do fill us in. I can see about 6 threads just on the Huntingdon board!

Remember that the BMD indexes are freely available to all (detailed instructions on how to use are on the post with the link above) as is the 1881 census.

You would probably have got a lot further had you replied to some of the questions put to you by people who were trying to help. Go through all of your posts and see for yourself. And how many times have you said "Thank you, that was just what I was looking for" ?

Lizdb has been trying to show you how to do look ups yourself using free sites (you don't need a subscription to Ancestry to check BMDs after 1837, nor do you need to request look ups in the 1881 census; these can be done yourself). You haven't acknowledged her either.

In the end we all get like the two people on the Glamorgan board who gave up on you.

"Please" and "Thank you" go an awful long way.  Try it, it's not that difficult.
